Anondized Aluminum – this frame type is standard for most commercial glass. Powder coated with either silicon or rubber gaskets.
Vinyl – Usually found in residential settings with dual pane windows. Latches are sometimes a concern and can affect the cleanliness and installation of film if the latches are mounted to close to the glass surface.
Wood – The older and more painted the wood the more difficult the installation. Wood next to glass is in a constant of decay. The suns energy keeps attacking makes installation tricky as the edges want to turn to sawdust. Advanced techniques are required to ensure installation standards are met.
