Similar to the dance studio this gym needed a bit of privacy. Yoga, cross fit training and aerobics enthusiasts prefer to exercise discretely. If you look at the pics provided you will see the ground level windows have graphics but the upper panels are clear glass.

Ground level decency is provided and the sun filled sky can still be seen from the inside.

Building areas like the lobbies usually need to be open and show unobstructed views. However, there are other areas where the client wants privacy like training rooms and maintenance closets.

HDClear 4 is used to create daytime and nighttime privacy. As is true with all HDClear 4printing the image faces both directions on the glass with an opaque layer inserted between the prints. The film in these pictures is placed on the inside surface of the glass (#2) and outer surface is left clear (#1).

Since the film is on the #2 surface the 10 Year warranty is active. The film is protected from the elements and will last until the tenant leaves the space.

One fear most of our clients have – the #1 surface of the glass is exposed to vandalism. Meaning a hooligan can tag the glass with a sharp edge or acid. Our HDSafety services are ideal here. HDClear 4 print process works shows the same image both inside and outside. HDClear 4 opaque layer provides privacy and is a lot more attractive than Blackout or Whiteout.

The difference between HDClear 4 and typical exterior graphics is that the film is on the inside surface and can maintain its vibrancy for up to 10 years. Exterior graphics have 6 month to 2 year lifespans depending on the material used. For retail events this type of graphic is best used as seasons and marketing changes. For spaces with longer leases then HDClear 4 for #2 surface applications is a better solution.

• HDClear 4 is an opaque print which shows the same image from both sides but does not allow visibility through the print.
• Is an excellent alternative to Black out and White out applications as it allows for privacy and for sharing the marketing message.
• Can be printed on an Interior 10 year warranty film or an exterior 2 year durability film.
• Some interior applications require the glass be pulled, the film installed and the glass reset. This is an excellent service we provide because the film is on the best surface, the glass is re-centered in the aluminum framing and the rubber/silicone gaskets are replaced. All of this ensures the best weathering, waterproofing and maintenance for glass.
• Please note the opaque layer is visually opaque. While the image does not glow as much as HDClear 2 it will still pass a little light through. For projects needing Blackout, with zero light passing through, then several layers of film are needed with edge sealing.
