HDClear 4: Two Way Custom Printed Decorative Window Films
HDClear 4 is printed on both sides with the back-side printed to mirror the front. This type of custom decorative window film printing is commonly used to separate public areas from private ones.
Visually opaque images – front-side readable / back-side mirrored
Normally light levels are greater on the public side. Printing the image, printing a layer of white and then reprinting the image exactly the same is the classic approach for HDClear 4 projects. Light passing through the image on the front lines up with the image on the back.
Modified printing for two-sided readable designs
Getting lettering to be readable on both sides of the glass is challenging. As well as a bespoke and technical printing process we call ‘Modified HDClear 4’, light conditions need to be favorable to prevent shadowing through the artwork.
This is a highly specialist solution and requires all artwork to be reviewed prior to approval. Some light conditions may not be favorable to this type of printing.
